Most copper wire mesh is produced in a plain weave configuration with a mesh count of 2–200. We provide full customization to meet your specifications.
Copper is easy to bend while maintaining its strength. When first woven, copper has a yellowish-red colour that gradually develops a greenish-blue patina known as verdigris.
Outdoors, this discolouration can become noticeable in less than six months in wet climates. In dry, desert conditions, however, it may remain untarnished for years. You can help prevent natural patina formation by applying lacquer, wax, or by periodically oiling the mesh to protect it from the elements.
